Artist Kim Barry’s exhibits have travelled the world. In 2010, along with collaborator Joey Thate, the duo opened Suite 106, a 3,000 square foot studio in Jacksonville, Florida. The project was in collaboration with Downtown Vision and the Cultural Council, as part of the “Off the Grid” movement with the intent to revitalize the city of Jacksonville. This year, Barry and Thate relocated to Los Angeles, California to open a studio in September at The Brewery Artist Compound in Downtown Los Angeles. Exhibit Ambush is excited to feature Barry’s work on October 22. For more information on Kim Barry or the other artists showcased in Exhibit Ambush, visit www.ambushevents.com.
